As compared to Tata Magic’s 16HP engine, the Magic Mantra is more powerful, with a 40HP diesel engine compliant with BSIV common rail engine technology that pulls faster and climbs better.

The Magic Mantra is powered 798cc, CRDi diesel engine which develops max power of 30kW (40hp) @ 3750 rpm and max torque of 100 Nm @ 1700-2000 rpm. The Mantra is engineered with a 5 speed manual transmission with a single plate dry friction diaphragm type clutch whereas the gearbox has an inbuilt smart calibration that gives higher fuel efficiency without decreasing the vehicle performance.
Certified with an ARAI mileage of 21.4km/l, Magic Mantra is a best in class vehicle. Mantra can reach upto a top speed of 80 km/h with maximum grade ability of 37%. It has a maximum GVW of 1675 kgs and a kerb weight of 1075 kgs.
